Better than the rest and here’s why:

As a public radio host, I have been seeking for a mobile recording app that would allow for great-sounding phone interviews without having to be at the studio. IRec not only achieves that, but reliably does something different from the others. When placing the call using the “from the app“ feature, it records your voice at the same quality as the actual microphone in your iPhone, rather than recording a tinny after-the-fact phone line version. Yes, your phone interviewee will be recorded through their normal phone line on the other end, but this app separates the quality of your voice in theirs - which is brilliant for better quality airplay. No longer do listeners (Podcasters, you name it) have to sort out two voices enmeshed in a phone line, there’s now is a distinct difference between You and not You. The rest of the smarter thinking in this app is listed in its FAQ but I even reached out to the developers so that we could trust this app with a new public radio product. READ THIS!!!!! This app costs money. I want an app that is free and free to record. Everyone, before getting the app... LOOK AT THIS!!!! All it’s gonna do is take yo money!!!! Don’t get this!!!

This seemed good until I hit the record button. Once I pressed it I saw a message saying that I needed to pay monthly for 9.99$. Pls, to stop confusion, tell people that you must pay in the app so they know it is not all free.

I downloaded this app because I needed to record some pretty important calls, suffice to say they tell you that you can create an account and use for free but after you create the account as soon as you hit record it’s telling you that you must subscribe before you can even use the app at all... Not worth the time it took to create this app at that point.

You have to pay for everything. I wanted an app to record my screen with but I guess not. This app lies to you so you thing you can record for an unlimited time but really you have to pay or do the free trial. This app is truly stupid. I advise you not to get it.
