ReCollect contains modified renditions of the cognitive N-back, Item Span, and Multi-object tracking tasks. Players are introduced into a multi-world universe, where they must perform different cognitive tasks in order to unlock more worlds. As the game gets more challenging, the player is forced to "recollect" or perish.

Studies conducted at the UCR Brain Game Center and elsewhere have shown these cognitive tasks to increase working memory in trainees.

Fun and Effective

I've been trying to do all those mental exercises with all these apps, and they get really repetitive after a while with some disconnected games. Oh and let's not forget the constant reminders and restrictions to pay. But I like that this one feels more like a video game than the others, and it allows you to play for however long. Just started, but so far so good.
