Awesome App

I like this app it have a lot of features and have a nice design.

Not bad

This is a load of crock

I like that I can add all my own recipes, but there should be support for inputting recipes, whether from an email or taking a photo of a recipe, or importing from a website. Also, when your ingredient list is long, as in one single ingredient, you can't see the rest of the line that you wrote! For example, one of my ingredients is listed: "3 medium jalapeños, seeds and membranes removed, finely diced" but on your app, it cuts off the word membranes and won't show you the rest of what you wrote. Your directions don't cut off at one line, so why do your ingredients? This is really annoying. There should also be a place at the top for you to list how long prep time is, baking/cooking time, and how many the recipe serves.

It’s Simple!

Simple can be good! It’s a good way to get your recipes on your phone or iPad. It’s easy to use, just add the ingredients then add the directions step by step. Hit Save and you’re done. It appears that you should make sure you have everything right before you hit Save. I don’t think you can edit the recipe after you have saved it. I might be wrong but I didn’t find a way to edit it after saving it.

No way

No way to get pictures of my hundreds of recipes to the app! I tried it but it failed! Buyer beware

Good idea, buggy app

Good for simple recipes. Interface is basic and clean. However, this app has a number of problems and limitations: 1) For recipes with many ingredients, entries will get duplicated or incorrectly captured as another ingredient. 2) When re-ordering ingredients list, entries will get duplicated and are captured as another ingredient. 3) No import function, need to manually type in. Ok for simple, basic instructions, terrible for tiered instructions. 4) Photo-alignment is silly. Uploads are scaled in portrait, files are viewed in landscape.
