Terrible. Needs a lot of work!

Changed original Measurement Units

Krisistired

I thought this app was going to be okay, I just wanted to multiply a recipe by 1.5, I thought I would try this to avoid error while cooking. I was wrong, since when are droplets a real form of measurement? This app changed ingredient units I manually selected to odd units of measure????! For example, the recipe calls for 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract, after the apps multiplication it changed my units of tsp to "60 droplets of vanilla extract". Like that's not even an accurate way to measure, it also changed my 1/4 cup of butter to droplets as well??! I just don't understand why the developer felt this was a good idea, it's not. I don't know how to droplet butter. The butter is not even suppose to be melted so how do I droplet a solid of butter? Like why! This upset me so much as it took forever to get the recipe in. Ugh forget it I'll just do it as I go along like always! I just wanted a quick print out. Just why? Droplets of butter? Like who does this? I'm not Martha Stewart I don't like to estimate. Ughhhh I couldn't find a setting to change this. I've never written a review for an app. That's how sucky this one is.

DO NOT USE TO STORE RECIPES!

Crestiedoggie

I originally loved this app and used it for ALL of my personal and professional recipes. I'm a caterer so I have a lot of recipes and it made it simple to change amounts depending on the client's guest count. The problem happened when I got a new phone- it doesn't back up any of your recipes!

Cocktails

User female

A lot of cocktails serve 4 or more and sometimes I just want a mixed drink. I tested this out on a mojito drink and it definitely did the math correctly when testing it in halving the recipe. I was looking for an app like this so definitely happy someone created one! Thanks!

Not Good

Won't reduce to right measurement - what is 80 drops of sugar? Seriously? And it throws in ounces when Tbsp or tsp will do. So now I have to convert ounces to Tbsp and tsp? What is the point then? Won't reduce by anything but whole serving size (in example, let's say I want one pancake; not one serving of three pancakes, so there is no way to get 1/3 serving). Going to another app as this one doesn't do what it should.
