The basketball RecShot game is great. It has in option for you to turn it on in wifi mode, in turn which is supposed to allow you access to it through this app. So connecting to the wifi signal coming from game is pretty easy you just enter simple passcode "12345" as stated in the instructions. Unfortunately when you open the app and try to start a game it brings up a message that states "please connect to MD basketball game first" I have even tried turning off cell data and still nothing. This app is useless. I will update my review to five stars if the connection issues are ever resolved.

As other person reported I cannot get the app to pair with the game. Receiving message "please connect to MD basketball game first". I sent a message to support and we'll see what they say.

Fun/nice idea, but the POS won't connect. Super disappointing especially for the kids. Merry Christmas.
It works perfectly but the instructions are incomplete.

This works. You have to connect your phone to the wifi of the game BEFORE you launch the app. Super fun.

Really fun game, especially with addition of video replays. Wish the video thumbnails showed the final score so you could find/download videos easier.

App will still not connect to scorer electronic module even though it IS connected to the unit's WIFI!! I called support after we first got unit also for Christmas n they mailed me a new scorer module n neither work on old App version or the current one. Tried every combination. Very disappointing! Need better QA Testing with your App development! This is 101 stuff!!
