Rebel Spinner Radio

Rebel Spinner Radio (RSR) is a streaming, commercial-free Internet radio station quartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in what we used to call the “good ole USA.” Featuring what is arguably the Internet’s most eclectic (Freeform) music mix, RSR “broadcasts” 24/7 from HYPERLINK "http://www.RebelSpinner.com" www.RebelSpinner.com and boasts a rotation of more than 12,000 carefully selected songs (as of early 2017). The station’s curator has been collecting unusual and beautiful music for 50+ years. During his nearly 10 years as a Public Radio host, he digitized his entire vinyl library and added the songs to his already burgeoning iTunes collection of 35,000+ handpicked titles. RSR represents the supreme “cherries” from that collection. The station’s mission is to seek out and assimilate amazing music that is or has been overlooked to a large degree. Although you will occasionally hear a familiar selection, most listeners agree that 90%+ of the day’s playlist is new sound to their ears. RSR makes every effort to find and include non-commercial music that is unique and compelling yet never offensive to the sensibilities.

RSR is separated into two music channels. The AM stream draws from a diverse library of up-tempo musical selections specifically chosen to complement moving bodies and brains. Jogging with ear buds, doing housework, hosting a party? RS AM is the way to go! The PM stream offers a more laid-back mix and is the perfect backdrop for friends and/or family gathered around the dinner table. It’s also a great companion for late-night reading and studying. If you’re staring into the fireplace with a glass of wine or puffing a fattie on your back porch one fine Colorado evening, RS PM will never harsh your buzz. In the words of one of the station’s promos: “Rebel Spinner Radio—where the hits keep right on coming—and we keep right on ignoring them!”

GONE FISHING
ZeroFeetOver

This version of app appears to be on permanent vacation - the other is still operational and playing some great music

Doesn’t work.
RLHilton

App needs to be taken down. As the previous reviewer said, it only states, “Gone Fishing”. Not really a useful app.
