Hint:
RealPiano standalone is very fast (very short latency).
If you play along to your iPod then the latency will be increased a little bit - because the iPod consumes some of the iPhone/iPod touch energie - but you still can play in sync with your iPod.
Make sure NOT to use the iPod EQ (system settings), because this will need a lot more power from the CPU - and lead to higher latency. Switch off the Phone, WLan and Bluetooth to get even faster response.
For iPod touch users:
iPod touch (first generation) has no inbuilt speaker, use your headphones. In order to hear the RealPiano sounds activate your system sounds via 'General-Sound Effects' set it to 'both' and turn up the volume 'Settings - Music - Volume Limit'.

The Sample length was more then doubled in the current version - compared to version 1.0.

I was hoping for so much more. Own most of the piano apps. Finger Piano is still my favorite. I bought this and felt robbed! I have bought lots of apps and this is my first 1 star review. Might have given it 2 stars had it cost .99. Would have said nothing if it came in free and they improved it with updates.

Worst dollar I ever spent.

I bought this when it was .99 hoping it was all the coolness that the devs chalked t up to be. If I had th choice I would ask for my dollar back. I am absolutely stumped as to what could possibly be the 'pro' version of this worth $5-$10. I'm tempted to buy it out of sheer curiosity. This app is boring and useless and FAR inferior to some of the other piano apps, even the free ones. Should have saved my dollar and read the reviews. Of course, be sure the review you're reading is not the dev's (like that one over there with all of the praise and details. The only details worth telling are those which say 'Save your dollar for something better. I'd love to meet the fools who bought the pro verion for $9.99!
Does not transpose

I bought this app because it said you can transpose the keyboard. It does not transpose to another key. It only transposes up by one octave or back down again.

I have to say, when the controls actually work after DISAPPEARING the keyboard is larger than other apps. You can't hear the piano unless you happen to have earbuds within your grasp. I think it would be better just to get the free apps or use a real piano.
