This app is so easy and the experts that chat with you are very helpful in answering questions. Love that the agent commission comes back to the buyer, less the $4950 fee.

I’ve been using this app for several months now and love the streamlined look. Very easy to use and the agents are super friendly and very helpful. Love the concept of tying technology to traditional real estate resulting in huge savings to home buyers! Can’t wait to buy a house using Reali!

Really bad experience

The following is my personal experience and opinion. We tried reali due to its flat fee (which we thought was a good idea). However, the service is bad enough that we would rather get another non-flat fee agent to write offer on our behave. The are very very bureaucratic and inefficient. They never replied promptly and it is almost impossible to get any valuable advice from them. They are non local, not familiar with the market. They are so pushy as well. They don't communicate what the seller agents communicate to them due to their chaos management. They are not trustworthy in my opinion at all. In our case, real estate was not done right, it went very very wrong. Here is our experience with reali and reali agents. We started to be in contract for a property. Then we received a second set of disclosures from reali agents 7 days later, the content of the second set of disclosure has potential significant impact on the value of the property. We decided to cancel the offer three days after revecing the second set of disclosures because our attorney think the following law applies: "SECTION 1102.3 OF THE CIVIL CODE PROVIDES A BUYER WITH THE RIGHT TO RESCIND A PURCHASE CONTRACT FOR AT LEAST THREE DAYS AFTER THE DELIVERY OF THIS DISCLOSURE IF DELIVERY OCCURS AFTER THE SIGNING OF AN OFFER TO PURCHASE. IF YOU WISH TO RESCIND THE CONTRACT, YOU MUST ACT WITHIN THE PRESCRIBED PERIOD." The seller did not agree and later we found out the reason is that the seller agent send the second set of disclosure to reali agent 6 days before reali deliver to us with confirmation of receipt from reali. The delayed delivery of the disclosure made us can not cancel the contract without losing the escrow money and other consequences. During the whole process, reali has been not responsive at all. Without any guidance on what needs to be done and what are the procedures. We were in risk of losing multiple tens of thousands of dollars due to reali's mistake.

Replacing People With Tech is Sad

Over time we have watched customer service be replaced by automatic check out, pump your own gas and the Internet, but it is sad to see the replacement of the Real Estate Agent. When I bought my first home it was so stressful. I relied on my agent to help me through the process. She bought me and my husband a new set of dishes for our new home. We were young with a new family. When I bought my second home it was after a financial hardship and our agent found us a bank foreclosure. He was a lifesaver for sure! This whole online buying of a home will catch on and people will us it, but it makes me very sad that we, as a society, are moving towards a direction that we don’t need one another.

Search function stinks

If you’re looking in Sacramento, great. Otherwise forget it. Tried for 10 minutes to reset the search function to something other than Sacramento. I could get a list of homes for sale in one city at a time as opposed to a general area. And if I looked at a particular listing once I closed it, the app took me back to Sacramento list. Poor and not going to waste more time here.

Helpful but worst during time of offer

Very quick to respond and send the disclosures. However when there is time to place offer “We put lot of time in man hours for writing offer” I have heard this so many time better I will go with other site like OL or with personal buyer agent.
