No spells?

MacMage2

I downloaded this app hoping it could replace my paper sheet but without a spells page it is worthless.

Nothing to show

Now that the app has been updated, it works great! I love having my most played character on back up on my iPod. Thanks!

Nice app

Darqson

Would like to be able to save more than one PC, also wish that in the fields where only numbers are used; stats, that it would default to numbers. Other than those minor things I like this app. Looks great and super easy to use. Any chance of making one for spells known/memorized

Only 2nd Ed sheet out there

SD SaDiablo

It's not a bad little sheet. And it's the only one out there for 2nd Ed that I could find that most of the pertinent information needed. But it's only really good for fighter classes that don't need additional info. Bad points: - no place for spells at all. If your a priest or Mage or any kind of caster there is no place to list spells or spell points - no thief skill support - can only edit one character. To change another character you need to input all the fields from scratch.

Rules

Game Lords

It's great, can keep NPC's on my phone and my guys all at a touch vary helpful

Not great.

Pros: Tracks most data for a single AD&D 2nd Edition character. Cons: No support for more than one character. No fields generate suggested values based on stats. No drop-downs, no tick boxes, no time-saving UI elements - it's all text entry. No saving characters beyond saving as images to the photo roll. No place to record spell book entries. No interactive elements at all. It really is just a data entry app for a single character. Probably worth what I paid for it, but not recommended for GMs or active players with more than one character.

one pc

Ostwolf

Thats it... No db, no csv, no xml - nothing but a png.

A few issues

Pros: Easy to understand format if you have the Player's Handbook handy. I like the format just like the old character sheets. I also like the multiple page format and it covers most of the needed information. I made a character relatively quickly and easily. Cons: Was pleased with this, then realized it is only for one character. Why buy a version for just one character? If you plan on using multiple times, buy the unlimited version. Also, it would be nice to have a page for spells for priests or wizards. For those who are curious, it does not automatically do the math for you. You fill on all the info yourself. More for old school players like myself and not always a negative!

Nothing but a character sheet

I had hoped that it would do the adjustments based on race, class, etc. Instead, the app makes me do the adjustments myself. Sorry I wasted my time and money. PS: add the adjustments and save my having to flip back and forth through the books looking for adjustments. Add hit point maintenance.
