i’ve been on the waitlist for months.

The concept is great however you swipe through the same small pool of people everyday. You’re also limited how many you can swipe. If I swipe no to someone than I don’t want them to keep coming up in my pool of people which is what happens. I say no to the same people over and over again. I feel like there is no one on this thing since I keep seeing the same 30 people over and over again. Also I noticed some of the people on there(some I know) I’m wondering how they even got on in the first place. I had one date out the however many months on there. Not really worth it.

I was a bit hesitant to join given Raya’s reputation as a celebrity dating app. I really didn’t think I would fit in with the crowd but was convinced to apply anyway. Was on the waitlist for about a month and started connecting with people as soon as I got on. Surprisingly, the people here are super down to earth and easy to talk to. I’ve had a great experience so far and plan to use Raya for the foreseeable future.

I signed up and gave them all my info and now they tell me I am on their waitlist. What kinda app is that? Don’t waste your time. I rarely write reviews but this app definitely needed a 0-star rating. Don’t bother downloading.

App is beyond broken

Whatever they are doing over there last few updates has completely broken the app. Can't view profiles, can't read messages. Needs to be fixed, right now it's just stealing at this point if they keep money for an app that doesn't function.

Geesh it’s only too obvious the fake reviews are fake. The 72 hr marriage & baby one make me choke on my coffee. Lol...I swear everyone’s scamming everybody these days! Smh

Not the best for matching

At first I was getting some good matches but now I haven’t been getting many but guys will reach out to me on Instagram and say they liked my profile but I didn’t see there’s come up on Raya. Or I will like a guy but won’t match with him on Raya but will instantly match with him on another app. I’m not sure how Raya’s matching algorithm works but it doesn’t seem to work that great or maybe it has changed and it’s less efficient. Idk. Or maybe a lot of people don’t use it often because of the limited matches per day.

Can’t change info once submitted?

I’m on the waiting list, which is fine. The issue I have is that, while on the waiting list, you can’t see your profile/provided info and change or update it. Doesn’t seem very user friendly.

People are either not attractive, or are attractive and seem vapid and full of themselves

I’ve been wondering what the hype was all about, and was disappointed when I joined . All the men on this app are either not attractive and not that accomplished (how did they make it on the app?), or they are attractive, but seem vain and full of themselves. Bumble has more attractive, accomplished men on it than Raya.
