The Livestock app is a native app that does not require constant internet access to enter livestock data. Have access to view and update livestock data at any time.
Lion Edge Technologies develops livestock management software for both PC and Mac OS computers. The Ranch Manager iPhone app can sync with the desktop software via the Ranch Manager Cloud Service. The Ranch Manager Cloud Service allows wireless transfer between devices (iPhone, Mac OS, PC, iPad**). The desktop version of the software is sold separately and is required to use the RM Cloud service to synchronize data between devices. Best program ever! I have been using the desktop version for a long time. The iPhone app just made it even better because now I don't have to remember to enter data when I come back in the house. I Love It!! and it's super easy. Even better is their support if you have a problem or just don't understand something. Great customer service!

Customer Service will not return calls in a timely manner

It has always been an issue since I began using ranch manager a few years back, but I have had enough. Customer service is near impossible to reach. My calls have never been answered and I must leave a message for a return call, this can take up to 4 days or more if it is returned at all. Most ranchers like me can’t wait around for a phone call like a desperate prom date hungry girl. I think the root of the problem is that Ranch Manager users have to pay up front and there is no real need for great customer service since they already have your money. I am switching providers at this time to one that gets a monthly fee and has a vested interest in keeping my business.

I have used the desktop version for years but I haven't had the iPhone version long enough to accurately review it however the customer service is unmatched. They walked me through the process of setting up the iCloud and the iPhone app step-by-step, very patient always accessible, & return phone calls and emails promptly.

I have been using this app with the desktop software for almost 2 years now and really love it. I was nervous about spending this much on an app, but it was well worth it. I love the app for keeping track of my cow herd and the customer service is great. I have contacted them by phone and e-mail. Most of the time I receive a response within a couple of hours. The app continues to get better all the time with the updates. The best money I have ever spent on an app.

Disappointed. Forms not linked. Have to re-enter data on each form. No nice way to tie tags dam, birthdate together for one animal. Waste of money. My iPhone notes worked better.
