Excellent app

A great app which excels at what it was made for: telephony. As a messaging app it falls short of the ever-ready Whatsapp. A few complaints I have is that sometimes when a person calls you you're not able to answer. When you call back the line is busy because the other person is still calling in the background! I think it's been resolved now as I don't see this problem anymore. Another more major complaint is that a voice recording gets sent immediately, with no chance of cancelling the process. While this may make leaving voice messages more intuitive, not being able to backtrack leaves you open for potentially embarrassing situations... But as a voice telephony app, it's the best bar none.

Very Useful for long distance and international calling and texting, but only when you are connected to the Internet. If you're connected to the Internet calls essentially are free to other persons who are also connected via Viber. It is a bit hard to figure out how to use for free, whom you can call in your contact list and not have to pay for calls. Also it keeps offering Viber Out but tells you nothing about what it is and how it differs from Viber - rather annoying. It seems Viber Out works a bit like Skype in that you pay a low rate by the minute.
