Difficult to navigate. Multiple sub menus to get to the desired categories so it takes a while to find what you need. That is, if you can find it. For anyone who doesn’t speak Japanese, This is a water down version of the original Rakuten Japanese version, meaning not everything the Japanese version has or you want is listed, Only a handful of products for sellers willing to ship overseas. Searching for a particular item by title and/or brand proved to be useless. Rakuten only gives the users a minimal selection of items based on popular searches for items that are considered to have international appeal (DragonBall, ONE PIECE, Lolita wear,etc.) by overseas customers. On some item pages, you get to see a handful of items showing as recommendations from the same seller, yet when you click on them to view, they WILL NOT be available in English and It gives the buyer an error message stating the product is either not found or the desired quantity is less than 1 piece, when clearly it’s 1 or more when placing in the cart. Registration is a nightmare. You will Never receive a confirmation afterwards. So knowing if it was successful is a matter of trial and error.

Had tremendous trouble with this app. The account I set up on my Mac was not recognized but the email was, so I had to ‘reset’ the password (which I set to the original password - something a good system shouldn’t even allow) to log in. Once in it didn’t even show me my previous orders. Garbage app.
Love Rakuten, but...

My cart keeps emptying out while I’m using the app. When I go to check out it says it’s empty. Days later when I’m back, all of a sudden everything is back in the cart.

Unintuitive, difficult to navigate, won’t always remember login at checkout, no wishlist feature...not good

Most of the site is NOT English. When you put in a store here in the USA and they still show stuff from Japan doesn’t make sense.
