Rainbow RSS Reader

Rainbow RSS Reader is an exciting new way to read the news on the move. It is a full-featured standalone newsreader App made to have your news available and up to date whenever and wherever you are.

The main idea behind Rainbow RSS Reader is the Unified Feed. A lot like the unified inbox, it puts together all the news from different sources in chronological order making it easy to navigate. The Unified Feed is the App’s main screen.

You can assign a color to each one of your sources so that the news in the Unified Feed are marked with respective colors – immediately visible and intuitive. You can also filter news by choosing one of the colors or by searching for a particular keyword.

While reading an article you can always move to the next or previous item or jump to the first unread article on your Unified Feed with the latter being also possible by simply shaking your device. This is particularly useful when reading in fullscreen mode (tap anywhere with two fingers to enter or exit fullscreen mode) or if your hands are busy.

Back at the main screen you can swipe any article and choose to show only news from the same channel, of the same color or initiate a full text search using the article’s title as a keyword. If you’re already filtering or viewing search results, swiping any article will restore the default mode.

The App lets you configure all the feeds you like by simply adding them from the “Feeds” screen, accessible by tapping the Bookmarks button. You can setup a single feed by typing the name of the site or full RSS/Atom feed URL or you may choose to import feeds from your Google-Reader account.

Rainbow RSS Reader caches all your news so that you can read them even when the network is not available. You can always choose to mark all items “As read” or ask the App to download latest news updates.

Rainbow RSS Reader is offered for free and will show Apple iAd advertising in regions where it is available.

Simple and easy to read
Rixel75

May be it's missing a feature or two, but it is spot on with the important stuff. Great tool to read the news.

Very good

Good Performance
OK Hombre

This RSS app has been crash-free. I am pleased with it.

Fabulous!

This app has finally taken the concept of a rss reader to real functionality. I'm thrilled to be able to sit with my iPad and catch up with my favorite sites and blogs all in one place on a truly portable device. But it takes it steps further by enabling you to send an e-mail in the midst of reading, or to send a copy to a friend, or make notes to yourself. This is my main reader for all my feeds.

Очень !

Одно из необходимых в моей подборке

Solid App
Dregonzrob

I like it! Easy, good interface (not flashy) and simple. Only negative: no way to comment unless I opt to go straight to the actual website. The ability to tweet the link is cool though. Would recommend!

Great app!

Very easy to use app. Seamlessly updates your feed within a few seconds of opening the app. The color coding helps you keep the feeds organized and isn't complicated at all. Adding new feeds is very simple. I would definitely recommend this app.

I enjoy this app but it doesn't update unless I log in.

I like it. Doesn't always pull in more than the title. I would like the option of deleting entries. In spite of this, I like it. I like how the feeds can be separate or together.
