Rain Aware

Pdeegee

I rely heavily on Rain Aware and the nowcasting format it uses. It has saved me several times from getting drenched or getting too far from shelter when bad weather was inbound. The 5 minute breakdowns are highly accurate and very valuable for people like me who walk and hike on a daily basis. I love the three hour clock graphic as well.

Will not report from my saved location

I had an issue with the data shown and the customer reps contacted me within a few hours to say that it was all fixed!!! Works like a champ now!

Use to be a favorite

Bragged to everyone who loved being in the know about weather and showed them app and examples Now - it can be pouring BUCKETS of rain and home screen shows “Dry and no rain” Feedback from company is blah blah blah even after sending screen shot examples

I love it when I can tell people the exact time it will rain or stop raining. The forecasts are very good.

My rain review

MD for Metalman

Mediocre

Not impressed

Started out working ok, but at times does not work at all

Not the same

It’s definitely fallen off from the time the app launched. Most apps similar to this one tend to get better but this one has gotten noticeably worse. Location accuracy is off, rain start and end times are off. Not sure if it’s due to the additional features through the years but when it was much simpler it was flawless. Sometimes less is more.
