Reminds me of the old Railroad Tycoon. Easy to play and fun. Wouldn't mind seeing some more activities during gameplay. I like the steampunk/locomotive style but the graphics could be a little sharper for retina screens. It's easy to think you've clicked on a town but actually to have clicked next to it - could maybe snap-to-town a little better.

Seems like it could be a good game.

I had it on my iPad and when it ran it seemed nice. Whenever I powered down my iPad the game would no longer boot up when I turned the iPad back on. I contacted the app producer and they responded promptly, which was good. Their suggested fix did not work and when I went back to them, they simply suggested I ask for a refund.

Fun game when it doesn't crash

This is a really fun game. I actually have the Mac version and the iPad version. Unfortunately whoever coded it needs to take some time using Xcode Instruments, since it continuously crashes in each edition. The iPad version crashes at boot after you get 1/2 through the game. The Mac version crashes when you play it on Mountain Lion. I somehow suspect both versions are impacted by poorly written code.... Too bad for such a fun game....

This game has a lot of potential, but it misunderstands what's fun to play on this platform. It's really slow on 3x speed even, I couldn't imagine playing on 1x. The track wears out very easily, so after sending a train you have to pay to repair it with a repair train. So if you make 100 on a train and spend 115 to repair the track afterwards you lose money. You can grind through it, but it would be much more fun with bigger payouts and more durable track. Repairs isn't fun, switching railroads and launching trains is. The level time should be targeted closer to 10-15 minutes, not 35 mins. It's just boring this way.
