Yet another great update! Love this app and the quality it delivers!

This app is slept on

This is an amazing app. It plays FLAC and if there's a song in your playlist that's 24bit or 16, it'll tell you (24 bit is better quality. The only complaint that I have is sometimes when you have the "DCT level" up to 10, it can make the music sound too distant or spaced out (I guess it depends on the type of headphones you have) I haven't tried this new update yet, but this app is very underrated and I fully support it ?

Truly Enjoyable!

This is an awesome product. Their DCT technology makes the real difference.

Either unprofessional or dishonest

I am an analog integrated circuit engineer as well as an audiophile, and I think I have a say to this. In short, despite all the other 5 star reviews, the app publisher is cheating. 1. When I am playing a 192kHz/24bit media file, and connected to my SONY PHA-3 headphone amplifier, the Hi-Fs indicator is NOT activated. The amplifier can detect input data format, and if it is of 96kHz/24bit or higher resolution, it will light up the Hi-Fs indicator. So, in conclusion, the app is not generating Hi-Res digital output. 2. The maximum sample rate/bit depth support by iPhone 7 plus, in terms of HARDWARE, is 48kHz/24bit. So it is theoretically impossible for the app to output any analog signal better than 48kHz/24bit. However the publisher claims it can playback 192kHz/24bit. The DSP available in their IAP will make a noticeable difference but it is not necessarily better sound quality. So don't get tricked.

좋은 어플입니다만 업데이트가 필요함

JuneUi, Jeong

Awesome!!

Love the app, I've had it about 6 months and very user friendly. I also really like being able to try out the add on before buying them

Sound is better than Apple Music but navigating is a nightmare. Sometimes I can’t get back to album cover from lyrics screen. Bug I guess. You guys gotta make navigation quicker and easier. Not so complicated.

Keep coming back

The twitching magus

I have all the best music players. Neplayer, kaisertone, relisten, iaudiogate, ubio, capriccio, soundigo, neutron, hibiki, Waves NX, ubio, you name it. But this app legitimately doesn’t alter the mix. At all. It sounds better than the stock app but doesnt have the rather gigantic diffetences between each of the players above. Neplayer has better reproduced mids, iaudiogate reproduces the lower end better, neutron has better volume control, hibiki upsamples, soundigo calibrates your headphones, ubio sounds volume compressed but somewhat neutral, capriccio had great binaural crosfeed (as opposed to stereo crossfeed like this app has) and a neat eq file sharing feature, relisten boosts clarity, kaisertone has brighter highs and emphasizes smoothness. This app calculates away artifacts and crossfeeds. That’s it. That’s all it does! And it sounds amazing. All the apps here have their place, but this app is my most used. Its better for reference. Max out the output level for better dynamics (for that, the auto gate protocol on neutron is miles better) Sometimes the output on this app goes to 24 bit, but only when its needed for the calculation. Mostly for iTunes plus. High res NEEDS A DAC. its advertised for 98000 hz+ but it assumes you know already that you need a dac. That requires a sophmoric knowledge of iphones’ audio hardware in general. All in all its a great app for bluetooth all the way down to high end monitors, for high res FLAC to the most compressed mp3’s. An all rounder and it never touched the mix... unless you want it to. I prefer to leave the output level at 0.00 dB
