Absolutely wonderful game

I had been looking for this kind of game for my iPad for a while, and was unimpressed with many of the options out there. This game, on the other hand was very fun. The game is an updated take on space invaders, using many themes from space invaders and asteroids. It is a very fun game, and I definitely recommend it. The storyline is funny, enjoyable, and with a twist ending. I hope the creator plans on extending the story or making a sequel, because I would definitely pay to play more. The updating and adding of weapons is interesting and fun enough to keep playing and trying different ways of fighting the bad guys. All in all, a great game that I would highly recommend, my only regret is that there is not more of it.

This game has great graphics and is very addictive. I played this for 3 days straight and finished the game. The ending was very disappointing because once you defeat the mega brain, he tells you how you screwed up and how the aliens won. Once he tells you this Commander Norton forces you to go back to present time and that messes everything up. Then a big, lovely red GAME OVER is on your screen and you have to start over from the beginning, which means you have to work for all your weapons and upgrades AGAIN. I give this game 4 stars for great gameplay, but bad ending.

Crashes when I skip dialogue. Crashes moving left or right. When it does work, it's limited by its design. You can only move left or right -- shots are automatic. Unlike other shooters, though, the pace of shots and limited control severely limits you. Might have stuck with it a bit if it didn't crash frequently. Played on iPad.
I love this game

By far one of my favorite games on the iPad. It's a go-to whenever I have time to kill. The glowy graphics look super sharp on the iPad, and combined with the beautiful music provide an awesome ambiance for shooting little space critters. It's so simple, yet so perfect. Seriously though, gorgeous. Now, I am an avid gamer, and I have loved video games my whole life, especially retro games. So to see space invaders remade like this made me almost as giddy as the first time I played Nintendo 64. If you know exactly what I'm talking about in that last sentence, then this game is for you. However, obviously, if you are a new blood, and don't remember a time when cell phones were the size of a loaf of bread and sega genesis was considered high-def gaming, you will probably not like this game and complain that it does not have a save feature and that when you die you start all the way back at the beginning. To all of you, I have only one thing to say: have you ever played the original arcade version of space invaders?
Fun retro, but the upgrade keeps crashing

This app reminds of the early days of time spent in the arcade standing in line to play Space Invaders. Simple controls and fast play, but ever since the upgrade was installed it keeps crashing, very frustrating!

I can't stop playing it. The vibrant retro graphics on my ipad are gorgeous to look at. Love the phosphoresent glow like the old CRT arcades. Weapons are cool to upgrade at different levels.
