App can’t track...

One of the best splits I have had to be met with an app that kept telling me I was not on the course(I was the first time I turned around). Really frustrating.

Did all the steps given at set up. But still missed a step for family and friends to cheer me on. Did not know in time to fix before race. Very disappointed. Should have done some kind of test before. Not an easy app to maneuver!!

Ran the same race next to my significant other. Started the app at the exact same time. both have latest iphones. I physically beat her by about 6 seconds, but the app gave her a finish time 50 seconds sooner, so it doesn’t function as a race timer. and it was only a 5k, so that’s a huge margin of error. Also, they feed you ads while you race. We just watched a Netflix documentary about ads on social media, and this one is extra creepy. Think about it. While you’re endorphins are high, and you are in state of thinking you deserve a reward if you finish strong, the app is yelling at you to buy stuff. Gross. Instantly deleted after race.
