Racecar is a fun top-down racer for up to 4 players. Racecar is a fun game for the whole family, with a casual but fastpaced athmosphere where you race against your friends.

Impossible to control

I don't think challenging to control is appropriate here... This game is nearly impossible to control. I would need to give each of my friends an hour to practice before we could race and hope to complete a lap. That's TOO challenging a control scheme. I gave them 3 stars because they are trying to be innovative but I think it's back to the drawing board on the control scheme guys. IDEA: add a beginner mode that keeps the cars going in the same general direction around the track but let's you steer left & right a bit to get the hang of the controls. Currently it's too easy to get completely turned around and going the wrong direction. Just preventing that would be a huge Improvement.

This is a very bad driving game. In fact it is not even a driving game. It is a silly finger pointing game; you are not even behind the wheel.

Sure, the controls take a little getting used to, but they are appropriate for this type of race. Lots of fun - takes me back to the old Sprint Car arcade games.

Bad, bad, bad graphics. Lame attempt at replicating "Super Sprint" from the arcades. If you are too young to remember it, Google it. The 1980's graphics were better than this and had better physics involved.

This game is weird but I could probably get used to it... Also I found a glitch where if you go out of the right hand side at a certain speed, you go right off the screen and you can still drive the car around and you hear the noises but you don't hear it.

This thing totally works and is both fun and challenging. Yeah the control scheme is hard. He said it was. But it's not random - you CAN do well with it. Simple and retro. I dig.

This is a fun little racing app, reminding me a little bit of the classic Super Sprint game, or more specifically, the ols black and white Sprint games of early 80's arcade fame. The controls ARE weird, but they do make sense after a couple of laps. The same finger steers AND controls the throttle, which is odd, but after a few practice laps everything comes together nicely. Just remember, forward to go, back to stop, and TINY movements of your finger make a huge difference in control precision. The tracks could use better art but the little cars look good and their wheels animate as well as leave little skid marks as you drift around the track. The app is free and when the iPhone controller update hits this could be a great little tabletop game.
