Subscriptions for photo editing apps is cancer

Subscription paywalls have no place in photo editing apps. They are just a predatory way for devs to exploit their customer base. Anything you get to use during the subscription will cease to exist if you ever stop the subscription. That means you are paying to rent the IAP, not to own it. Skip the subscription and buy an app for full price or that offers IAP for the content from a different dev that respects their customers. Edit: The dev’s sarcastic response just furthers my opinion that this is not an app or developer to support. Who cares how little they think it costs, it is still essentially renting content and is a waste of your money.

I had bought a lot of stickers and backgrounds in the past and the app had worked fine until the most recent update. I emailed support and they gave me pro for free because my sticker packs and backgrounds weren't working. I'm happy and enjoy the app.

New update Upset

The app before was a 4/5 until the most recent update. Now to fully experience the app you need to pay, wish it stayed as it used to be.

I downloaded this app years ago and loved it. Upon downloading the new update, I not only lost all of my projects and purchased stickers (restoring purchase option did nothing), but now I have to pay for features that I’ve enjoyed for free for years. You shouldn’t treat your old users like this. Give us erasers and filters back.

Other apps are better

When it was free, with special currency it was worth it, but now if you want to pay for these features you are better off using a more powerful app.

I wish I didn’t update the app

As others have stated, the eraser no longer being included is a dealbreaker. I had to delete the app and reload it because it was crashing on launch, and all of my files were gone. I don’t see a login spot and the stickers I’ve previously downloaded and created are gone. I’ve enjoyed using this app for almost two years. Recently I’ve been using it to create collages for my newborn because it gave me full control. Now all the pages I’ve made for her baby book are gone. Taking previously free tools and making them charged tools is pretty crappy. Every photo editing app I’ve used doesn’t charge for the eraser. Even MS Paint includes one!
