Needs Sensitive Content filter + app is very slow.

Corjebs

MANY times scrolling through the app I have been met with extremely disturbing images. Also have “walked into” very disturbing descriptions for question answers. There needs to be some way for users to click an option that says “Contains Sensitive Content” so it is not shown to people who don’t want to see it, and the option to not see it and have to click to read or view the photo should be there. I’ve seen and read (within the first sentence) some seriously disturbing subject matter that nobody should have to accidentally see. It isn’t fair to have this awful mental library from this website and the lack of a Sensitive Content filter. Also- app is very slow on iPhone 6s software version 13.2.3 Recently will not allow me to request answers and when typing a question the letters come up very slowly.

Annoying app

Notanappleguy

There’s some good content but the technology, the app, the platform, it’s all so bad it’s hard to get to anything good in there

Not what I thought

brockstar1977

First the makers of the app have no control over what individuals post. I believed it was built for educational purposes to learned about topics you may be interested in or researching. I wanted to answer questions too, to support others around topics I’m educated about. Unfortunately I came across despicable individuals who post inappropriate photos and things. I was shocked and really bothered by it. I immediately deactivated the account.

Biased towards Left

AbheyGupta

Quora is a biased app with extreme left ideology.

Slow, forced updates

mleiii

The app is slow to show your feed and requires you to update whenever a new version comes along. I don’t update my iOS when I get to a stable version, why do I have to keep un updating my apps. This goes for other apps too. DirecTV I’m looking at you.

1st time ever leaving negative review.

Just want to warn ANYONE who may have been invited to the Quora Partnership Program don’t even bother. Your time is precious don’t give it to a company that wants to exploit you. They will BAN you at the drop of a hat with zero warning or heads up, stealing the little profit you have made literally on the basis they don’t like the questions you’re asking even if it on paper is within the terms and conditions they wrote. And then cite that you broke their guidelines while never specifying what was the offense. Also please keep in mind this company is NOT impartial to the TYPES of questions you ask and has a preference and bias. What is most frustrating is you can never know which question of the many 100s if not 1000s that you write can get you banned a moments notice. This is evil. And poorly run.

Biased platform

amitm79

Quora has bias in banning posts and is a left leaning medium

Teenager meeting app

Barenicks

Wasn’t aware that this was a meeting app for teens. Therefore I’m deleting.

Another liberal site

ldw5360##

I am done! Quora is no different than other liberal sites. You can attack President Trump or Trump followers with vile language, etc. but with MUCH less offensive language against liberals and it is blocked while liberal trash stays up!

So many usability issues, definitely hard to use.

gizakakkun

There’re so many usability issues that are annoying. Reddit is much better.
