Fun but some stuff here and there

I joined the app yesterday and I’m already seeing some stuff that’s a little weird. Firstly, it’s difficult to figure things out. The “tips” section is outdated so, although it works as an okay guide, the majority needs to be figured out by yourself. Secondly, the app seems to lag and crash sometimes when I’m on it for a bit. It could also use some more fandoms. Overall the app is good, but could definitely use some improvements.

I loved this app so much until,I got a new phone. It seems like you would be able to transfer your account from different devices but no. You can’t and you can’t make another account using the same email so basically I’m screwed. It wouldn’t honestly be so bad but you have to confirm your email to trade. So,I emailed them and they quickly responded which I appreciate. After that, they sent me this email and asked for a few things like my account information and so on. But they haven’t done anything after that and from what I understand there is absolutely no way to transfer my account.

Why Quidd is fun

The reason I like quidd is because I like collecting and trading things, this app gives me the ability to do that but without having to worry about leaving my house or even using money. The best feature is probably the one where you can send stickers to others

I really enjoyed the game the past year until the updates with Quidd 2.0. The collecting was fun but then you started releasing a ton of hard sets. Too much. In order to get it in 1st edition you'd have to give up tons of rares or buy it. Accelerate and Rebound sets are fine but no spacage between them makes collecting tough. Quidd has turned from a fun collecting game to a give me all your money if you wanna be rare game. All the sets have changed to them same card count to. It was better when, in sets, there were a variety of card counts in sets. Like in the original sets, such as Crystal Gem Sayings. There was 2 with a card count of 3k. Those were considered the rares of the set. All the other 16 stickers and larger card counts. From 5k -20k. Sets were better that way. Instead of releasing tons of rares at once, we'd get a little at a time. Mixing in small holo and lightning sets every once in awhile. This honestly was better. You didn't have to hunt a whole 8-20 rares for each set you missed. Everything was better than honestly. And with the shelfies update, you can't even talk to your friends in the feed or make showcases. My favorite part of this app was making showcases and sending them to the feed, where my friends, and only my friends, could see them. Now you post shelfies , which are barely customizable, and you post them to the entire quidd community. I'd rather send it to my friends and see only my friends stuff.

Warning to Parents!!! There does not seem to be any language filter when creating “shelfies” so children may be exposed to bad language like the F word. This is where you go automatically when you open the app now. You used to be able to chat with other users in fandom feeds and Quidd announcements. You also had a feed for just your friends. I guess they didn’t like us comparing notes on issues. Now we have “shelfies” where people post their items on fake shelves so they can brag or do fake giveaways to get comments to keep their post at the top. There is ONE feed just full of Every Single Stupid “Shelfie” from Everyone. NO fandom feeds. NO way to chat with groups about a release or announcement. MASSIVE lag—an ongoing issue which seems worse with every update. Trading is really slow and difficult which makes people spend more to complete sets, which I now am thinking may be deliberate. When we could still discuss as groups, tons of people opposed selfies and having to see every post from everyone. QUIDD IGNORES ITS USERS AND DOES NOT CARE. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!! BTW-Developer response stuck at bottom has nothing to do with this new review. Why Apple leaves them there I have no idea.
