Me

Doesn't work. Little bar moves up repeatedly with no results. Can't focus properly. Waste of time.

Good but one problem with my dad and me

Immel-Kroy

First it doesn’t scan the QR code

My scanner continually scans the QR code over and over but does not give me any info.

What’s with the videos

This app is a 0. Need to keep watching videos to work

Barely functions

AWSerio

When I first started the app, a Chinese language dialogue box came up. There was only one choice so I blindly hit it. I fiddled about with the app, trying to get it to work, and was eventually given a notification that I needed to grant access to my camera. Once that was done, i tried scanning both a barcode and a data matrix code. The camera refused to focus so it was tricky. It couldn’t even see the data matrix code, and it took it a while to scan the barcode. Once the barcode was scanned, I had to watch a 30 second video advertisement to see the results. There are better apps out there, so I’m deleting this one.

Used to work, not on new XR

Worked fine for me on my now-ancient 4S, but in my new XR as soon as a QR code comes into the camera view, the app sends me to a more or less random website: Facebook, LinkedIn, whatever. Except never the one in the QR code... Looks like just a bug, but renders the app useless ATM.

I scanned one barcode :(

Scanned one barcode in the store, it told me to watch an ad, and then it would look up the item on google for me. :( I thought the whole idea of a barcode/qr was to make the process faster, more streamlined, and presumably more accurate (when did “accurate” become a flexible term? More or less.. it’s like “a little bit pregnant” nowadays). I already have the ability to “google” a “universal product code” without using an app that insists on showing me an advertisement before it asks another app to find information about a product for me. You won’t be shocked to learn that I had already “googled” the UPC number and was informed that I would have to go to the FedEx or UPS website directly to get info on a “tracking number”, which has nothing at all to do with the item I was trying to learn about. You can color me crazy... and I might be going out on a limb here... but I kinda thought software that was designed to specialise in UPC research would intuitively know that I was NOT trying to find info on a package shipped by someone else, somewhere else, via 1 of 2, very large package delivery companies. It was “smart” enough to exclude The United States Postal Service, but not smart enough to know that it was supposed to researching a Universal Product Code. Trust me on this... “When it absolutely, positively has to be there....”, OR I ask “What can brown do for you?”.... I can handle it. Now I’m confident that if I need UPC info, I’m better off calling 411. I still won’t get the info I needed, but at least there’s a slim chance that...1, I get a human being on the line...2, he or she might find it humorous that I called them, instead of using a UPC scanning app, and 3, he or she will gladly transfer my call to FedEx or UPS for an additional fee of $1.95. It’s too late to make a long story short, so skip this app. —One more thing... Who uses Google on an Apple devise anyway?... I will have to ‘DuckDuckGo’ it and find out, because no one has “developed” an app that I can use to scan and send THAT info request to Google yet... but I’ll ask Oliver (the Englishman that is my devise’ Siri voice) to ask the post office if they know where my information request packets are.

Don’t Bother

StarkyWantsBetter

Quick scan, find out about the product quick, but wait, first you get a message that says “see your results after you watch these 5 ads.” Seriously! I call it named appropriately because I deleted Quick Scan very quickly. What kind of children write apps like this ??

Unlegal charge

AnikoNak

it charged me meanwhile I didn't approve it. Return my money!

Scam
