It’s a fun, fast paced dungeon crawler on the cheap, what more could you ask for? I would say that the controls/ layout is a bit sloppier than they are on the switch, but this version came first and it’s like $3-5 cheaper here than on the eshop so why would you buy it over this version?

Spent thirty minutes tapping my way through a few levels only to find the only thing that can kill me is the skull sign I accidentally tapped at the beginning. Even bosses mindlessly walk over traps and kill themselves.

I'm really digging this game. It's well done, polished, and has a great sense of humor. My only quibble is that I'd like to be able to move without needing to constantly reselect my weapon (wizard). It would also be handy if the save games supported iCloud syncing so I could continue my game from my iPad to my iPhone. Other than that, it's awesomesauce!

Nice and fast paced gameplay with beautiful pixel graphics. My only question is why I'm greeted with a 'thanks for "buying" the game' when I in fact bought it this morning from the app-store.

Pros -Smooth looking, very clean graphics -decent controls, point and move -decent sized inventory -good random map generator and level size -random quests per level -random bosses - good traps/bonuses scattered along level -shopkeeper to buy/sell goods and keys Cons -Don't expect to die. Not rogue like in that regard -Quickly find all magic books by floor level 2/3 -non-stacking items in your inventory. Overall, this game is a fun roguelike game. Random drops of weapons, armor, etc. Problem with this is that you will find all your spells and/or abilities within 2 dungeon floors. Same with gold, you'll have it falling out your ears very quickly. Kills the urge to go "wonder what is behind this door..." Secondly, I started playing on normal mode....could not die. You have too much access to health and the monsters don't hurt you enough. Quit after level 3. Started a hard mode game. Could not die. Got to level 2 before I quit. If the developer could re-balance this game, this would be a solid rogue. Make me work for my magic and if I come across tougher enemies, then bring it on! This is a roguelike game!

Finally a decent rogue-like that doesn't require me to "pay to win". Kudos to the dev for not being greedy.

Reminds me of Nethack/Rogue very much; just solid, enjoyable play. Only issue I sometimes found is that occasional starting toons lacked the ability to regenerate hp - not a deal at higher level (you will just be eating to recover hp) but can be a bit rough at low level.
