To play, just swipe from a number to a + or - and to another number again. You'll earn a star if it adds up to any of the given answers. Can you unlock all stars and proceed to the next round? Each round brings a new color scheme and after a few rounds you'll even be introduced a whole new mode of play: FREE PLAY.
Quento is a game by Q42. It was invented by Martin Kool, coded together with Benjamin de Jager and designed by Marten de Jongh.
The name Quento is derived from the Spanish "cuenta", meaning "sum" or "count", and "quintet" which is Latin for "group of five" that hints at Quento's game board having five numbers.
I love this app, and so does my son. He comes and asks me if we can play "Quento". Here he practices math without realizing he's doing it! And he's getting better.
I’m so glad to see this game updated for iOS 11. This is one of my favorite distraction games for at the bar or in the elevator etc. I love playing it with a friend on a night out in those clubs where it’s too loud to talk to each other; Just hold the phone between each other and see who can solve it faster! Really just a great idle game that you can put down and come back to at any time because it’s not time based, much like solitaire. It’s great for when you need to keep your hands busy or want a simple distraction at the table. People often ask me what it is and it only takes a second to teach them how to play. Can be a good ice breaker that way too.
Hi! I've had this app for a long time (going on 6+ years), so I was excited to see the update! Anyway, I just got to Round 1000 and the text at the top doesn't fit in one line, so it wraps and takes two lines. However, this shifts the entire UI below it down, so the buttons on the bottom (hint, settings, number pool, anddaily puzzle) are only halfway onscreen. Nothing major, just a small bug in the UI. Keep up the good work!
Too simplistic with combining only 2 or 3 numbers to arrive at a specific number. Combining 4 or more numbers would make this app more interesting but you'd have to pay for it. Not for me any more. Deleted today.
A good way to stimulate the brain when you've got some time to kill. Paid for the full version and it is worth it. I wish there was a way to turn off the sounds or make the app respect the ring/silent switch. Otherwise, perfect!
