A lot of useful and cool data. It's like a mini earthquake factbook that I can take anywhere without worrying about carrying around a huge book. This app also has a very simple yet effective UI that won't be dreaded everytime you run the app. The only thing I didn't like was how the video section was structured. Other than that, it's a great app. 5/5.

This is a really cool app.. you get to check out where earthquakes occurred all over the world... their magnitude and depth, and the actual GPS coordinates to check out the locations of the earthquakes in something like Google Earth. I've been waiting for something like this to come to the iPhone for a looong time. A huge bonus was that it has historical data as well! Kudos, AppDudes.

Where does the earhquake data come from? It doesn't seems it come from USGS. Chile earthquake was 8.8 magnitude not 8.5. Can we pick which server the data comes from? I rather use USGS. Also the apps crashes frequently. Other wise this free app beats many other paid apps on the market right now! Update: they fixed the magnitude. I hope this is not done manually. So up the stars to 4. Would be a 5 if they reported the correct magnitude to begin with.

The only bug seems to be that the historical data doesn't go back as far as advertised, otherwise no problems

What's going on around me. I would gladly pay for this app. Get it while it's free. You have nothing to lose, and a lot to gain.

Good application for monitoring quakes around the world. Good information tagged to the colored pins. Great for a quick look at what is shaking where.

This app would be 5 stars and worth $5 To me if it had alert ( push ) for quakes over 4 in any area of the world also it would be awesome to see a map of the plates faut line areas and See a color pattern showing potential danger . Also tsunami alerts and info links or more video on theory this is a really nice app good job *** update gets 5 stars** Thanks for the push You guys rock!

I thinks it's a great app and it's for free so is even better...The only thing I notice is the time of the report. It would be good to being able to customize time zones. For an example: It's recording right now an earthquake and it says that it was at 9:32 PM, but in my country isn't that time yet...so local time according to our location would be nice...
