Such a frustrating App

The map has its dividing line right through New Zealand which is on the Pacific Ring of Fire. You would think the brains behind this App would have the Ring of Fire as its Center and the dividing line down through the center of the Atlantic where there are seldom any earthquakes. Dudes, FIX IT.

Wrong Road Locations

I haven't looked everywhere of course, so I will just address the Cobb, California area. Cobb is where Highway 175 and Bottle Rock Rd. converge. Which by the way is in the wrong location on Google Earth, & I've been trying to get them to correct for years. In addressing road names in the wrong locations, I am talking about roads off of Bottle Rock Rd. If anybody there really cares, you will look at your map & plainly see that there are roads with the same name mostly on the west side of Bottle Rock Rd. Other than having Cobb located in the wrong location, Google Earth have those road names correct. If you care to have a correct map, you'll look at their map, and correct the road names on your map..

FIX MAP

The map needs to be able to continuously scroll both directions. I don't know why you have not done this yet. There is no logical reason for the map to dead end in the ocean. Just program the map to roll around. One side goes off and comes up on the other side. Fix it already please. The latest Alaskan quakes were too close to the edge. I want to view the pins I'm looking at in the center.

New version has too much info & no way to filter. I live in California where we have dozens of tiny quakes. Most of these cant be felt, not necessary to list all of them! The new version doesn't allow me to filter out smaller quakes, also doesn't specify WHERE in Cali a quake might be (old verbs specified region which was helpful). Can I get the old version back??

The last changes are not desirable. I liked seeing all earthquakes on map at the same time. I'm deleting this app.

I have had this app for several years and with the most recent update(s) it has gotten terrible! The notifications don't specify where the quakes are, clicking the notification doesn't take you to the recent earthquake, and the usability is just not as good. Not sure what happened. But I need to find a better app. :-(

A hybrid would be good

Add the map back as an option. It was crowded but useful. Also give more options on the alerts. I want to know about even small local quakes but larger quakes in my region and over 7 worldwide.

I wish there were negative stars!!!! I'm from California. It used to be that the list of quakes gave an approximation of where the quake was. Now it says, "California"! Where might that be? Anywhere from Mexico to Oregon! AND the map is only the Western US. PLUS every quake above 1.0 is recorded. There is so much clutter that I missed the quake I the Philippians! I contacted the developer & he blew me off. This app is useless. Uninstalling it next. Don't bother wasting time & space on this one. Used to be fabulous--now useless! This app is useless
