Lifesaver!

My wife was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I scanned her feet and made an insole with the scan. It came out great and she can now walk again without pain! Highly recommended app

Decent

I get why people are mad and think they are getting ripped off, but you have to look at the big picture. Most 3D scanners are crazy expensive and this is something for people who have hobbies 3D printing. It may cost a dollar and is not a great scanner, but this was directed toward people who don’t want to spend that kind of money.

Best 3D scan

Senior Chipoltl'e

This is the best 3-D scanner app available for iOS.

Didn’t work for me. Did not recognize the mat.

Greedy Pricing

The problem with all of these scanning apps is how greedy the developers are. This app was $15 to unlock unlimited exports, and now its $30?! Give me a break.

Need another way to purchase unlimited.

Won’t do Apple Pay, Need another way to pay.

Read the TOS and per scan pricing

I won’t fault ease of use as the problem with this app. They own your scanned work without owning it. Read the TOS as you’re providing them a library of content to do what they will with. Regarding the pricing, you don’t unlock unlimited scans, but the ability to export a single scanned object. Save your money and effort for a desktop based scanning solution.

Why not offer a few starting scans for free? Just to see how good this app really works. I would have kept the app had we been offered s chance to test it.

Export and quality

I tried to scan a seashell (so I could print it with a 3d printer) and it came out pretty well but I couldn’t see the bottom so I flipped it, scanned it again but it got messed up. I scanned it a bunch of times after that then it was never the same. I finally tried to export it and found out you need to pay for an STL file! The app is pretty cool but it’s really annoying you have to pay. I’m going to find another app.
