Um hello? For the first like 3 months this worked fine, but then I needed to remove my bank to fix a few issues and when I go back to add my bank and connect my account to the “funding account” it says I can’t. Repeatedly. So annoying. I don’t have the patience. Ew.

For me atleast it helped me manage and save money. The guilty pleasure rule is my favorite....now I know when I want to buy alcohol or Chick-fil-A atleast I’m saving some money ???. Only con I wish the deposits from my bank account to the app would be a little faster other then that great app.

UPDATE 8/10: App works great again. Syncing problems were resolved. I hope Qapital support will be proactive about keeping up with changes in banks’ login requirements to minimize disruptions in service in the future. (Original review) I *loved* using Qapital for the last 6 months but all of a sudden the app no longer connects to my bank. Contacted my bank (as Qapital instructs) and they said nothing has changed on their end and there’s no solution. Of course, as others have noted, Qapital support is very slow (sometimes nonexistent—no response to a query), so who knows when or if I’ll be able to use Qapital again. UPDATE: Opened up another checking account so I could use Qapital again. The app wouldn’t allow me to switch my funding account and required me to contact support to do so. After three days, support got back to me and, instead of switching the funding account as I requested, apologized for my inability to connect my old checking account and told me to write back if I wanted to switch funding accounts (??!!!). Really poor support.

Started saving immediately without really disturbing any of my natural spending habits. The only thing I’d say is it would be nice to have a cumulative understanding of my rules (ie, any deposit over x amount = a total of _% taken out for Qapital). It also takes a few days for money to move in & out of the account, so it isn’t as easy for me to anticipate the amounts and days of movement.
Great for saving towards goals!

This app is great for anyone that wants to save towards buying something for themselves, vacation, or simply just saving! Transfers aren’t instant, but take only 1 business day! Overall great app :)
