Simple and engaging

Good for a free app. Teaches the basic theorem and includes simple exercises for foundational understanding. You can't do any "converse" stuff unless you purchase the full $2.99 version.

Title one rocks!
Not good. I would adjust the naming of the triangle to triangle red. The refer to the sides as a,b,c. This will help clear a distinction between the name and the sides. Also, I dislike that the app uses a strange formula instead of the common/most widely used form of a^2+b^2=c^2. Your formula isn't good for classroom or review purposes. Add a lesson about what is a right triangle. This is a good link to help students start learning about this concept.
Confusing for students

Why did this app complicate the simple a sqr + b sqr = c sqr formula? Would have been a great tool if they had left well enough alone.

I actually thought this was a calculating app to do the work for me. It's just a teaching tool for students.
