Pyonkee is a new dynamic media for developing various ideas. By combining visual blocks, kids/adults are able to create original games, animations, and stories on their own. Through the programming process, we will learn about logics, productivity, creativity, and collaborations.

Pyonkee has been developed from the open-source code of "Scratch 1.4" from MIT Media Lab. Since Pyonkee is fully compatible with Scratch 1.4, millions of existing Scratch projects can be used for reference.

Pyonkee's user interface is optimized for touch devices. We do not need cumbersome typing, even a mouse. Just write programs wherever you like. Pyonkee nicely supports pinch-in/out, and font scaling for small devices. Moreover, sound recorder and camera are provided for importing your sounds and pictures into the projects. We can mix various media on Pyonkee and program them.

You can share your projects via AirDrop, e-mail, and Dropbox. From the version 2.1, you are able to create programs using various iPad sensors and Mesh network protocol.

Dive into the fun of visual programming!

Amazing Controls
H3mispher3

Amazing controls, just like Scratch 1.4. Would be great if it got an update, but it’s still fun to use on the go.

This is an exciting find...

for anyone who has lamented the inability to run or teach Scratch on iPads. Pyonkee is pretty close to the real thing, as far as I can tell from just playing around with it a short while! I have not experimented with moving or sharing projects, but I am pleased just to have a Scratch environment to teach with!

Good but slow

When I found out that apps weren't aloud to execute external code, I was very sad. But when the policy changed and they finally could, the app came out and I was happy. I couldn't wait to get my iPad. So now that I have scratch on my iPad, I can code on the go. My project is running pretty slowly though. It could either be my iPad or the app. iPad Mini 2 iOS 9.1

Scratch 1.4 On the Go!

This is an amazing app that emulates the Scratch 1.4 environment for iPad devices! I admire the features put into this app, such as on-screen keyboard support when running a project and the text size changer. The only problem with it is that sometimes the editor will run slowly, but I don't mind. I enjoy this app very much; Five Stars!
