Great -- except for the 30 day limit on fingerprint security

huedaman

The 30 day limit on fingerprint recognition is bad enough — but the fact that a reboot resets that timer even if you entered your password yesterday is simply absurd. Fix your bug please.

This app is awesome

I’ve been using this app for several years now and I’ve got to tell ya it’s one of the best apps that I’ve ever used.

Frustrating!

BenJaDo

This app wants you to entrust your pw data to Dropbox. A site that has publicly demonstrated poor data security. There does not appear any ability to access a network location where a long established dB resides. Further if one laboriously completes a ‘support request’ there does seem to be a send option.

Crappy

I have loved this app for a long time. However, this is the second time my safe got “corrupted” and I had to restore only to find regulate backup copies have not been happening!?! I will be taking my money and spending it on a new app.

PwSafe is the best

daily use multiple times. Best program ever! Must have!

Not so great

Srenovo

Worst directions in the world. Getting it to work is nearly impossible. Needs step by step directions. To bad I can't give it a negative one. I can not recommend this as getting it to sync seems impossible and it is not intuitive.

The. Best. Authentication. Manager. Period.

I used pwsafe on Unix for years, and was very happy to find this file-compatible app for my iPad. Just to compare, I tried about 10 other apps and found none that had the ease of use, the flexibility or the security of pwSafe 2. This app has just the right features — easily defined custom password creation, password history (wonderful when an app refuses your new password) and sufficient fields to enter every situation I have come across with 140 saved password sites. It's also easy to use to securely save credit card or driving license numbers and then paste them instead of typing them. The Notes field is terrific. Groups are very useful. I use the Safari extension to directly fill usernames and passwords into web sites. Fill-in for apps works as well, but very few of them support the emerging de facto method. It's good that it is easy to use because the one thing lacking is respectable documentation. Most of the other password manager apps are lacking here as well. I am very confused by the comments about Dropbox sync not working. I am here to tell you that I use it every day and it works just fine. It is good to not make a subsequent edit until the current one has synchronized. Keep an eye on the network activity spinner. Love this app!

Giant pain in the butt

Doing simple things like opening an existing safe on iCloud is impossible. I am only using this because it’s compatible with the PC version that I already have countless passwords on. Unless you have no other options get something else. That being said most of the others I have tried are equally bad. So.....

Used for years and Very Pleased

pwSafe for iOS and Mac

FussyGusy

App written to no longer allow sync with Dropbox to try and force users to pay extra per month to use special servers to only sync with iCloud.
