Puzzlejuice takes all of the elements of your favorite puzzle games and puts it into one convenient brightly colored package!

This game was designed to challenge both your spatial and verbal abilities and if you don’t feel overwhelmed then you might not be human. It’s a puzzle that will keep you hooked.

COME FOR THE PUZZLE. STAY FOR THE JUICE.

* HOW'S IT WORK? *

Multicolored BLOCKS constantly fall from the top of the screen and it’s up to you to arrange them. Once you complete a row with these blocks they will turn into LETTERS! The only way to clear out these blocks is to spell WORDS. Oh and also you can MATCH COLORS—that will make letters too.

* CORE MODE *

Test your endurance by seeing how long you can withstand the downpour. Complete objectives to unlock POWERUPS that will make you life easier as the game gets harder!

* ZEN MODE EXTREME *

Don't have a lot of time? Great! This mode is Zen because the blocks don't fall, so you don't have to worry about them piling to the top. This mode is EXTREME because you ONLY HAVE 90 SECONDS.

---------------------

"LOCAL" MULTIPLAYER: There's a lot to do in this game so it's great to play with friends! One of you can sort the blocks while the others look for words. Divide and CONQUER.

PICTURE-IN-PICTURE: We've packed the same experience into both the iPhone and iPad, but we know that phones are small and thumbs are big, so when you start spelling a word on the phone, a preview pops up to show the letters underneath your fingers!

GAME CENTER: Challenge your friends or try to become the world's best Puzzlejuice Master!

DICTIONARY: Spell a word and don't know what it means? No problem, double-tap on a word to look it up.

FOREIGN LANGUAGES: Play the game in English, Spanish, French, Italian, or Dutch!

COLORBLIND SUPPORT: We've got you covered.

--------------------

It’s not your mother’s word game; it has balls. Brass balls. Puzzlejuice is for closers.

Can't play until they fix rotating problem
divafern

It's a fun game, although it lacks the slickness and polish of their other game, Threes. However, there appears to be a bug for me where some blocks won't rotate, which becomes extremely aggravating, and renders the game fairly unplayable when things start moving faster. Won't try to play again until I see an update with a fix for that.

Fun game but a couple frustrations
TwinsFan8791

Way too many "words that aren't words" which takes the fun out of it as it turns into just random dragging around to see what turns yellow. I've had numerous "words" that when I double-tap in the pause screen bring up "no definition found." Probably because they're not words. Also, slamming down doesn't always work. Sometimes it goes straight down, other times it moves over and ends up where I don't want it. Oh well. Back to Threes.

Needs a major fix

This could be a cool game if you could actually rotate the pieces. Rarely does a tap turn a piece. Makes the game worthless. So frustrating. Have deleted it already.

Needs work - lots of it!

Although it's fun to play, there's too much time wasted staring at the grey PUZZLEJUICE brag screens between games. Also, having to swipe the name of the game you want to play gets really annoying after 10 seconds. The rotation needs to be a button - it's too easy to tap fallen blocks, especially as fallen blocks build up you're struggling to make words. Also, I can't enter my name in the high score - it won't accept anything typed in from the keyboard. If they spent as much time working on the game play as they did trying to make a cutesy interface, it would be a five star game. As it stands now I'm not going to play anymore until it gets some bug fixes - the flaws are just too annoying.

Could be amazing, but it needs some tuning.

I think it's a fun and addicting concept, but the tap-to-rotate control is often unreliable, especially as the game gets hectic. In general, the controls feel like they could be tighter. The menu design is a little tedious (swiping to navigate is counterintuitive and irritating) and having a restart option in addition to the rage quit option would be nice when I just want to start over. For some reason, I can't enter anything in the keyboard (except backspace) when it wants my name for a high score. So my name is forever Broseph. I hope they put some time into cleaning this up a little, I could really love this.

Original idea, fun to play. Still keeps me entertained after months. Just a couple bug fixes (mentioned in other reviews) and it would be perfect. Also, the rage quit button should have an "Are you sure" after being tapped on.

A Great Game on Par With Threes

If you like Tetris and other word search/spell games (such as Spelltower), this will be right up your alley. It's great fun, and has interesting gameplay - combining the shape-matching challenge of Tetris or Columns with the need to spell words in resulting letter rows (when you create a solid row) to ultimately make the rows disappear. It does get to be little tricky rather quickly, so you'll want to be up for some fast thinking and multitasking. I've noticed that some folks have remarked that it gets stressful, which can certainly be a fair assessment in many senses, because it does require you to essentially manage two puzzles simultaneously. The game really stretches you to use different skills at once - if you're itching for a challenge and are not too easily frustrated - you'll love it. I certainly enjoy the fact that it makes me balance two challenges at one time. For that reason, in fact, the game is always fun and seems to constantly be "renewed" with new challenges. The only complaint I have seems to be the same as others - you're unable to use the keyboard to enter your name and save data. (That's a pretty minor quibble though.)

Glitch!

Can't turn pieces when I tap. Used to work better. Can't even play it now since you've updated it. Frustrating.

No harassment.

Not a fan

Although great in theory, the game is too confusing and the tutorial is unhelpful. What are the chain bonuses, the various numbers around the screen, are all letters scored the same? The tap to rotate feature is buggy. It looks pretty, but that is about all going for it.
