We see many pictures that could have been wonderful, but were snuffed out or limited with a careless filter or automatic gizmo. I like PureShot because it lacks the junk filters and so forth but gives you access to all of the API’s on offer from Apple. As a result, you can create a very nice photo and go from there.

Top shelf man. This is as close to DSLR on your iPhone as your gonna get. Just don't get carried away with it for long periods of time, it'll get a little warm to the touch. Are you pickin' up what I'm throwin' down?

I bought this app because my current camera app, VSCOcam, only lets me increase the exposure to .5 seconds. The description for this app claimed a max exposure of 1 second. However, despite checking and re-checking that I have the exposure set to 1sec, the EXIF data for my images reveals that the exposure time for all was only .5 sec, so essentially I paid 3 dollars for something I already had. Complete thievery, nothing less.

The application itself does allow more access to camera controls than the Apple app, however it comes at a significant cost. The app on ios9 latest + iPhone 6s takes a long time too launch. in fact it is the only app that is not lightening fast on this new device. So this will lead to lost shots. It also tends to crash and freeze constantly. It has potential, but this release is no good. Keep trying.

Love this app. Ideally, I've got my DSLR with me all the time. Reality is my phone is the camera I have most often. Love the manual control and the high quality output. That said, this update feels rushed. Manual focus lags, making it hard to be precise. I'm sure you'll fix it.

This really lets you get all there is from the iPhone camera. You can take HDR pictures, or regular pictures and save the files in a variety of formats, including RAW.

As a photographer, I appreciate every manual setting on my DSLRs. Each control lets me tune my camera to capture images exactly the way I like it. This app does the same for my iPhone. When I wish I had a "real" camera and want to take more than a snapshot, this app lets me squeeze every pixel of potential out of the iPhone camera I always have with me. And the customer support is awesome, too.

I'm using 645 Pro more these days for landscapes and sunsets but I keep PureShot set on auto bracketing for quick shots. I have a custom white balance I can quickly access for indoor lighting; I don't know of any apps by other developers that give the options I have with PureShot and 645.
