Pure Gas is a simple front end app for the popular website pure-gas.org. You get a list of 100 ethanol-free gas stations sorted nearest to furthest. Just click on the one you like, and get driving directions!
Use the map view and find a pure gas station anywhere you want to go!
In addition to locating the nearest ethanol-free fuel station, you can track and save the following information into the iPhone at every fill-up!
Fuel Mileage
Trip Distance
Fuel Price
Fuel Type (E0, Regular, Mid-Grade, and Premium)
Fuel Mileage records are color coded red, yellow, and green to help identify good fuel and vehicle performance.

I can’t count the number of times this app has sent me all over creation only to end up somewhere in the middle of a residential area with no gas station in sight. Hours and hours wasted. Probably addresses input into the app incorrectly but no way for me to know. Some of them I have found but they were closed. No hours of operation provide. Extremely unreliable. At least provide phone numbers so users can call ahead to verify existence and address and use our own GPS to find.
Good app, need ethanol free option.

As the owner of a motorcycle that prefers E0, this app is awesome. I do wish it would support adding/editing stations within the app instead of having to do it on the website. Edit: Also wish tapping on a station icon on the map let you pull up the details that the website shows.

Please please make it so you can click on the each station to give you details such octane numbers so you know that info or make it a filter. This app is very unsuccessful, but it can be a pain when you’re looking for and need a certain octane level.

have used the app for some time now. For some reason it will not open. even after i deleted it and reinstalled, it will not function. developer needs to address the issue.

I run Ethanol Free in all my small engines and cars. This app is GREAT for finding stations carrying ethanol free. Only wish list item for a future release feature is to have prices for ethanol free listed in the Pure Gas app kind of like the gas buddy app lists prices. Don’t get me wrong! Still love this app!
Non ethanol gas locations

This app showes stations said to have non ethanol gas in a 10 mile radius of my location where I know the gas is 100% there are only 2 stations who actually have 100% gas it’s not accurate at all needs some user feedback on the app in real time to tell folks that they do or don’t have non ethanol fuel
Gas station database is full of errors.

The app is easy to use, but the database of gas stations is full of errors. Too many gas stations that don’t sell ethanol free gas, and in some cases the gas stations are old ones that have been closed for years.
