So, I rarely spend $ on a game unless I KNOW I'll get my money's worth, or, if I get to play a TON of levels for free. If I play free for many levels, I don't have a problem with supporting the creators. Until now, I have NEVER spent money up front, hoping the game will be worth it. After trying, then buying, several hidden object mystery games by Big Fish, I now just pay for the full version right away. THEY ARE THAT GREAT! My ONLY wish is that they put out more games without an occult/magic/cursed theme.

The HO game with the highlighted word "bird" was SO completely RIDICULOUSLY overly complicated!! 1st: there were 2 "birds" one was a picture (more like a filled in outline as it was just solid black) of a bird on a green flag, then there was the exact same outline on the ground, but clicking on them did nothing. After clicking on practically every object, the straight edged razor moved and I used that to "cut" the bird out if the flag and it slowly drifted down to the bird outline that matched. Done! No?? The bird shape cut -out was "mobile" so now I'm trying to match THAT up with anything that looked like it would belong with- as I passed over a cup of coffee......it "clicked" and the cut-out wrapped itself around the cup -bird+coffee?? Oh well at least I'm done....but when I clicked on it ..What?! MORE?? Again, I'm back to clicking on every single item...and to my surprise this little tiny bag/sack (smaller than the coffee cup) of something "dark" -coffee beans? So now I'm trying to match it with the "bird flag/cut-out bird/coffee-cup bird" and lo and behold, the bag turns upside down, shakes out contents and lifts off, for the BIG REVEAL: "A BIRD shape floating on top of the coffee!!!" Tah-Dah!!! Seriously?? Four steps for THAT?? But what makes me frustrated is how UNRELATED the objects were, made NO sense -and if you're going to have a 4-step process for a HO, make it so clever, crafty and interesting leaving the player in AWE, thinking, "Oh, that was COOL!" That's the reaction you'd want, not, "I have a headache, that was a waste of time and stupid". That being said, that was the ONLY big downfall and I really enjoyed most of the game. Like most mystery game apps,it starts off great with lots of promise and intrigue, then losses steam as the game progresses, finally cramming a bunch of HO games towards the end. Let's stop that trend. NOW. Ps- ferret as a pet?? Ew.

It may seem like a lot of the games from Big Fish, have the plot and story line. I still love to play the games so much. You will not be disappointed getting this app!

There is no real back button so you have to exit and reload the scenes. Music is nice and graphics are great. Map is confusing but movement is quite easy.

Sat down to what I thought was another GREAT game from Big Fish, only to be shot down with what I thought were going to be removed once I paid. Nope, didn't happen. First of all, I had to go back and forth to find the items that I needed, each and every time. Made for a very boring game to keep seeing the same shots over and over again. I guess. It didn't bother anyone else. THEN, to make matters worse, every scene change or even more, it kept loading, and you had to watch the original guy on your screen, as if it was loading from the beginning! It wasn't even that good of a game. I would NOT recommend this game to anyone. Oh, one more thing, what happened to the lower priced games, like the $4.99 ones? Bet this doesn't get posted. This is my first and only post for Big Fish.

Good story line, good graphics, different types of game challenges besides HOP keep it interesting. Weird how sometimes you must use the Return button and sometimes you click in the scene to move on. If you've played a few of these, it's not too difficult and so far what you do makes decent sense. Sometimes that gets a little far-fetched. Revolves around a number of murders,not gory and thankfully not demonic or the dead coming back to life. Recommended.

So far played about a quarter of the game. The return button was something new but the interactive map made up for it.
