Punch Kidd lets you re-live your favourite childhood game, complete with frantic air punches, ghostly enemies and mysterious puzzles. Take the epic journey through 16 challenging and diverse levels. Blocky pixel-art and chirpy chiptune soundtracks of 80's consoles will bring this adventure to life - in your hand, all running natively and fullscreen on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch!
Hope you all love it :-)
"The #1 INDIE tribute to the retro 8-bit era of the 80's and 90's."
Notify me of any suggestions and/or bugs @timtupman.
Cool game with charm and appeal, just could use a few adjustments. The sound effects are much louder than the music and could be toned down. The directional pad and buttons are in ok positions but I feel they would be better if I could adjust them even slightly. An options menu with these features would easily make this a 5 star app, but it is pretty fun already!
Feels great to remember how happy I was playing this game when it was released! Happy to found it at this days
It is a real similar game compared to Alex Kid; however, it has a very dissimilar/boring music background.
The game is really great get to punch a lot of stuff like dragons. Also you swim and ride stuff and do parkour.
App crashes immediately after launching, you do not even get to see a title screen
Very cool remake with controls that work better thatn expected! It is mostly what you expect from this remake, but with no bosses, a slight different ring system and surprise boxes behavior, and some other minor differences (i.e. The last challege is no challenge at all). Besides that, cumulative coins and anytime access to the store takes away a little bit of the challenge in the exchange of a possible in-app purchase to make you OP... An overall fair remake... Worth the price!
AKIMW should have been a no-brainier for SEGA to put out. I'm glad someone was bright enough to put out this almost effect clone.
