Award winning board game with an excellent iPad implementation. I play this more often than any other game. AI is strong, and interface is clean.
Best brief strategy game

I did not know this beforehand as a board game, but it continues to fascinate after other games have lost their appeal. I leaned on the hint feature for a long time in order to learn strategy, but once learned, strategy remains interesting. Beautifully drawn, too, and with nice music, though I would still rather listen to Pandora, so I do.

I am so addicted to this game!!! A friend introduced Puerto Rico to me as a board game, and this iPad app is even more intoxicating. Great job with all aspects...from the graphics, to the various levels of play, to its user friendly nature!

Puerto Rico started as an outstanding European-style board game, and granted that you understand and like Eurogames, this iOS rendition is excellent and has repeat playability.

It recreated the game wonderfully, with great graphics and true to the spirit and intention of the game. AI can sometimes be easier than I'd prefer, but it still is very replayable.

A perfect recreation of the board game. Plays the same with a much faster play. The ui is very friendly and I especially like the drop down menu describing what each building does. The art is fantastic and the ai is challenging at all difficulties.

Having never played the real board game I was impressed with how well the game's hints and tutorial quickly brought me up to speed. One of the real game's claim to fame (and therefore evident in this port) is how there is almost no luck involved as the only randomized aspect is the available plantations to choose from when planting new crops.

I love the app! Please add in the expansion, that would be sweet...I'd even be willing to pay another dollar or two just to get the extra buildings. The game is still amazing as a base though. Also, I wish there was a slightly more intelligent UI. For example, when playing, you should not have to select WHERE you will ship one good if there is only one option. The game should do it for you. Still a great experience, however! PLEASE FIX THE ELO RATING SYSTEM!!
