If you have a MIDI keyboard controller, home digital piano, synthesizer, or computer controller, connect it to the PUC and play your musical instrument apps from your favorite MIDI controllers. The PUC allows you to wirelessly connect an iPad, iPhone or Mac to a variety of MIDI compatible devices such as a keyboard, DJ controller, drum pad, floor pedal controller, and more. The PUC can also work with other platforms that support MIDI connections over WiFi.
The PUC communicates directly to the iPad via WiFi, no "host" WiFi network is necessary. Once your legacy MIDI signals are translated into CoreMIDI by the PUC, any CoreMIDI compatible app can recognize it.

It worked on iOS and Mac but on iOS only you can hear a piano without any other app open. It interferes with instruments. Tech support claims they are working on it. After using it for days I also learned that does not stay connected and you have to go through the complicated setup process at least once during a song. This was not tested properly before being released. Tech support is poor. Would give one star only for when it did work it was brilliant with no noticeable latency using my midi wind controller.
Great use for old synths!

Picked up the PUC to bring some new light to my old synths, and that's exactly what it did! I can now send MIDI to and from my iPad or iPhone to my old synths and record sounds and audio with that old school sound. I also use the weighted keys on my external synth to get that feel I want while connecting and performing with iPhone / iPad music / synth apps.
Not compatible with iOS 11
