I love it, i use it to listen to my local PBS station , and when i am not in the car i use the app to listen to it. Not sure what some of the other reviewers are talking about when they say ads and ads and ads, i am not hearing ads.

What's not to love about NPR? Thoughtful, thorough news analysis, wonderful cultural programs such as 'This American Life', 'The Moth Radio Hour', Terry Gross' "Fresh Air"...the list goes on and on!

Really handy for when I want to listen radio on demand

Great content...but unstable and high propensity to freeze or crash

This app has so much potential if only it were more stable. I like that I can listen to live stream any NPR station, like my local KQED in the Bay Area. If it were not for its reliability, I'd give it five stars. Tends to freeze or lose coverage and require reboot several times in a session, unless you've got wifi or 5-bar coverage. Especially wonky on BART.

I love NPR but....

I love having npr on my iPhone but the app freezes if I go to another app and come back. Also difficult to find my local station sometimes. Would like navigation to be more clear cut. Now I just stumbled around until I happen to land on the tight place. Then too many steps not intuitivr
