I was forced by a friend to download this App and to be very frank I was a bit sceptical about it. But once I started using it, I realized how wonderful it is. On my phone it stays!

I may not be the biggest photographer in the world, but everyone has their own way of interacting with the home we all share, and has different reasons to take a picture. For me, I will stop every once in a while to capture anything from a funny street sign to a breathtaking landscape/city, to a memory with friends and family. Most pictures I take never see the light of day, and remain part of my own little microcosm of the world. However, occasionally I'll share with a friend to give them a laugh, or post to Facebook to broadcast where I've been to my distant friends. But with worldview, my microcosm merges into the vast network of human connection, and I become a part of everything and everything becomes a part of me. Even at its most basic function of worldwide photo taking and sharing, it renders any other photo taking app obsolete and isolating; even Facebook pales in comparison if you want to reach beyond yourself or your circle of friends and plug into the entire world. Why take a photo with your camera app when you can take it with worldview, for the entire world to see. And why waste time looking at the same old photos that make you wonder why you're even looking at Facebook anymore at all. Work worldview, you can sit back and experience every corner and culture of our fascinating planet. From my couch, I can simply let the pictures scroll, displaying photos taken from both strangers on the other side of the equator and your closest friends or neighbors. I feel I've already traveled the world, and contributed to helping other people do so as well through this app. So I can stay on my couch and be lazy, because I can see it all without moving a muscle. Of course, there IS the possibility that you win a trip to do the actual traveling of the world, just by trying out this free, revolutionary photo sharing app.
