Lots of potential, but broken

Brendan_D

UPDATE: Tried turning sync back on a few weeks ago. Opened the app before starting back at work tomorrow, and many previously completed tasks have reappeared. I have some 40-60 items in my to-do list, some completed, some that should be deleted, some that I need to do urgently. Horrible feeling in my stomach. I would throw money at the developers to make this app work. It just doesn't. I've been putting up with the bugs and instability but this is worse than broken. Taking all my eggs back out of this particular basket and looking, sadly, for an alternative. --- Proud has the potential to be fantastic and just what I need. For now though, it's broken. Rescheduling tasks in my "do now" list requires a restart after every couple of actions, making it frustrating and impractical to use. The developers have put up a release schedule (props!) and I can see bug fixes on the way, so I'm sticking with it for now in the hope they can make it work. I look forward to replicating this review if/when they do.

Super glitchy

Would be a nice app if it worked. Half the time the keyboard won't pop up when trying to add items. The feature to edit an existing item doesn't work at all. And it randomly crashes.

Lots of bugs and glitches, but GREAT potential!

I was excited to find this app and had been very pleased with the overall design, layout, ingenuity of functionality. However, I discovered numerous bugs while trying to learn the app, which, in a twist of irony, rapidly decreased my productivity…

Great concept but too buggy to use

yizhenwilliam

The app is fantastic when it works. Unfortunately, the bugs are random and fatal—I can't even edit tasks anymore without crashing the app.

Good idea but Needs Improvement

Skifast87

I want to love this app and from a high level stand point I do. However, the functionality is lacking. It's choppy to type on, items that I regularly complete reappear later on as incomplete. It's difficult to sort items on screen. Needs improvement.

Unreliable

Update 2/23 this app hasn't worked one full week with iOS 10. It doesn't send alerts. Doesn't have badge icons , unless you open the app. You then see you have past due items. Due is currently .99 in App Store. Go grab it. iOS 10 issues seemed to have disappeared. Looks to be back to that clean and reliable app that I came to love. No other app is as nagging when I came be forgetful or snooze happy. I'd like option for am or pm when selecting the date first, then time. Since it's update I did snooze one item and it never alerted me again. Hoping it's a fluke. The other reminders worked fine. Very dependent on this app. Others just don't do it for me.

Great to-do list+reminders

mind_of_lea

Good functionality but missing some options--need to be able to sync between devices, edit items once they're added, and add a reminder time/due date to list items and subtasks without having them move over to the reminders section.

Overly complicated

engineer13

This has some good points but I only use it when I have something due on a specific date. it's overly complicated to the point of being cumbersome. I don't need the cutesy quotes- I need a task scheduler better than iCal. Could be great if it were revamped

Not usable; crashes all the time

hoorayberet00

I love the concept of this app! It seems like it would be so useful and the de-stress option seems like it could be a hoot. I agree with the other recent app reviewer, that I'm just am not sure I know how to use yet. I am going to try and read the productivity handbook. But it looks like I can only read that in that app and not open it in iBooks. I love that this app has integration with Apple Watch. Just waiting for an update that will make it usable.

Someone should buy this app

Then finish it!
