Features missing?
Beatbits

After novation launch app release which is a great app but it makes me now want a clip launch app for ipad that supports editing samples etc to build my own set of samples. Had high hopes on this app given it claims an ability to edit own samples but it appears to me this app has been released with the future intention of allowing sample edits etc. It's manual references an ability to edit and resize etc but I can't find it in operation so I am wondering if this app was released with a few missing capabilities the developer intend to provide in a future release. This app does operate well for the predefined samples/patches provided and it does have a few bugs with playback control start stop for me (ipad 2) At this point I rate this app as promising but still in the process of maturing to be all it intends to be. Needs audio copy paste support and audio bus support.

Amazing potential

I seriously feel this app has potential to shine in the clip arrangement department, and ain't that what this iPad is good for... spitting out bits of recorded audio from your fav IOS synth apps? Of course nothing can take place of Ableton Live being controlled by an IOS app but this will do for on the spot improv and the price is right! I look forward to the future development of this app.

Excellent Start

This app could use some slight improvements but it is an ingenious piece of software. It has that 'magic' you can't put your finger on. No matter what you throw at it, the results are very musical. The interface is very pleasing and fun to work with, and I figured out what everything does in hardly any time at all without the built-in manual. I did look around trying to find an answer to another reviewer's statement concerning the inability to edit samples. It doesn't seem like you can actually edit samples you recorded yourself, but you can adjust gain and cue points. This would be irrelevant if the developer would kindly add Audiobus support (please!). Audiocopy would be nice too. Other than that, the only thing I noticed that interrupted my workflow was I kept forgetting where certain menus and functions were. I think an option to switch through different 'pages' within the app by swiping the bottom of the screen would be awesome. Lastly, I think it would be pretty rad if you could assign some of the boxes on the main page (where you launch clips) to different FX, or to the various clip manipulation tools, so you could perform a bit of everything at once when you need to. I could go on forever praising this app but I have things to do. Thanks to the developer for this fantastic little music box.

Good but needs more

Would like more flexibility in bringing in new samples, as well as ability to edit samples within the app. Overall neat version of Launchpad type app.

Amazing user interface!

Lots of Possibilities

Multiple ways to trigger samples and change your sound live. A good addition to your collection of Audiobus supported apps. If you like creating electronic music, consider this app. There are several videos of the app in action online that will give you an idea of what you can do with it.

Fun but sample support and import is crippling
N.AYCH

This app is really sick but limits you when it comes to sample support since it only supports 16 bit wav files. Wav files are cool but multiple bit depth support is necessary, and the fact that you have to use iTunes file import is a bummer, a Dropbox account link would be ideal, that way you could just download zips of your samples, anyways hope to see this in future updates for now Ill convert stuff manually

YeahYeah

Has the POTENTIAL to be great.
Hip1756

This app has the potential to be great, so I really hope the developers update it with the features it needs. It absolutely needs automation, and sample editing capability. And, I really like how there is a grid that you can remix the sample playback in, but there should be some kind of record option in this window. I know there is a record option on the main page but without record and automation features within the other windows you can't get your mix the way you want it before you use it.
