The BEST Pro Cam App for iPhone

TL:DR - 100% worth the price. An absolute essential tool for all of my work. Can it really be better than Filmic Pro? YES! Since purchasing, I'm all in on using this app daily in my video production businuess. Unlike Filmic Pro, the phone never overheats and breaks the footage. The app team desgins the functions to live within the limits for what the phone can actually do. Depth of Field on an iPhone - It works! So pumped to see this evolve past it's current abilities, but absolutely useful. Dual cam recording - Game Changing for me. ProTake and an Osmo are the perfect combo for me. I can use the Super Wide Wide or the Wide Tele and I'm able to capture the story without needing a 2nd camera or person. I've used it on so many Pro gigs and the clients and producers LOVE it! Remote Field Monitor Mode - WAY better than Filmic in every way except it can't as of today (Sep '21) cannot change cam settings remotely and it limited to just start / stop tiggering for up to 4 camaeras simultaneously - Still incredibly useful and way more reliable viewing experience than Filmic. Buy This App and support the team behind it. I'm so pumped to see what they enable next!

It doesn’t record 4K 60 in 10bit so that’s the biggest flaw, 4K 60 is limited in this app to 8bit. HDR is also limited to 4k 30 as well.
Screen flicker and distortion

I’ve recently been noticing a distortion and screen flicker at times when I’m filming that’s ruined some good shots not sure what’s going on with the software as this doesn’t happen when I use the the regular IPhone camera app is anyone else having this issue? I shoot on a celeb radio show and this is changing the quality of the shots.

It’s perfect but I don’t how to use a second device as a monitor to my phone while Rec cuz I can’t see myself in it & the feature is available but I don’t know how to use it I hope the developer response to me

I love this app, there are so many great features about it but there is one huge con for some reason the resolution or video quality for the Ultra Wide is way subpar!!When you compare this app with other apps like filmic pro or moment lens camera app or even the native iPhone app for the camera the Ultra Wide lens shows really good quality in 1080 P but the 1080 P on the pro take App looks like 360 P or 720 P ?

Come on Protake! You won’t let me login to report a problem, so I’m sending this review instead. I downloaded your Version 2.3 to my iPhone 13 Pro Max running on iOS 15.0.2 hoping to use ProRes. BUT, ProRes is nowhere to be found. It’s not where you said it would be at “Settings” > “Data” > “Video Encoding.” So, where is it? Please help! Thanks!

Please can you guys upgrade the portrait video mode to shoot in 4k and make the blur look more real please. If you guys actually do it this would make iPhone 13 cinematic mode pointless because you guys already achieved this look

Kind of shady to have nonway to contact the developer to get help. That makes me question how secure the app is. Also an annual subscription makes the app very expensive.
