Worked perfectly!

Had to match the paint color that was in our bedroom. Got this app and despite the bad reviews, it worked just fine on my iPhone 6. It located the paint color the first time. I couldn't be more pleased!!

Worst app ever

Can't even give this one star. Picked color from this Home Depot app and the employees couldn't find it in system by name or code listed. Matched 2 diff colors in the app to the original color and they didn't have those either. Worst experience ever. Will not ever be back for paint gain bc of the time wasted.

Can't use the app

Tslater32

The app requires an email to use, which is a slight inconvenience, however, when I go to enter my email to continue on an iPhone 6s, the submit button can't be clicked on. So, the app is unusable until that's fixed.

Major bug

App won't show the bottom of the email gathering screen. I can't even get in to use it. I used to love this app, but this is frustrating.

Terrible!!?

I tried this app on a wall with a painting on it and it made the whole photo that color! SO disappointed!!??

Awesome!

Chris Tabat

I'm not quite sure where all the negative reviews are coming from, but the app is working very well for me. It isn't perfect- takes some work to get all of the shadows and insets colored, but when done you have a photo of your room in the new color, complete with color name and code. Like any other electronically rendered color, I will be certain to double-check against an actual color sample when it comes time to paint. If you are uncomfortable giving out your email address, make one up!

Sad app ... So Disappointed:(

I heard about this app on a diy program and was so excited to use! The concept of using actual pictures of what you want to paint and applying color to preview was amazing... I used it and was thrilled to try out different colors so I could get a very close idea of what I wanted. Then I screenshot the color with product code and bee bopped down to the closest Home Depot and straight to paint dept. As I approached the guy behind the counter smugly and excited that I was TOTALLY prepared this time I gave him the numbers of paint color. He punched them into the system and said they didn't come up and one was no longer in existence.... wait...what??!!! I said" but I got them from the Home Depot app see????" He said he didn't know about the app he probably could get it but wouldn't use it. Are u kidding me?? I took me 3 days to come to a complete decision and that's how that turned out!! So back to the previous way bumping the other indecisive diy painters in HD and picking swatches that seemed to be the closest I could find to the colors that the not so helpful app suggested... They'll have you covered by matching any color?? Not this time Home Depot not this time : .. (

Wrong Color

Markymarkmarkington

I used this app to pick out a color for my living room. The painter bought the color I told him to get, Frontier Shadow. But the actual paint color color isn't even similar to the color in the app! It's medium brown in the app and dark green on the wall! Now I have to pay the painter to redo the whole thing. The makers of this app owe me $820. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!

Can't even get in

Screenbones

When I start up this app, I get stuck on the email address part. When I type the email and dismiss the keyboard, the whole app moves down, making it impossible to proceed.

Great Tool

I love this tool. The actual paint colors are probably off as others have commented, but if you’re just experimenting with wall colors, it’s great. Awesome tech and I’m grateful for it!
