How I hate getting up in the morning. It's worse when I have an obnoxious alarm clock waking me up with a buzz or some clown DJ on the radio. This app minimizes the sorrow of getting up by playing beautiful noises that get my brain going in the morning.

This app works mostly like I had hoped. Simply and smartly. One downside is that I can't turn the alarm off in the morning without first going through the machinations of logging into my phone. This disrupts what you want an alarm like this for in the first place. Disclaimer: Maybe there's a way around that problem that I just haven't figured out yet. If that was fixed I'd give a 5. Still, this app way better than most (generally speaking).

Currently it's missing a basic feature available in almost every single alarm clock app - The ability to repeat. So currently it must be manually reset every single night. Frustrating. Needs this fundamental feature to get a passing grade.

It works. It gets louder gradually as it said it would (it was the only increasing-volume alarm app I could find in the App Store). The bells sound kinda nice. I wish there was an option for getting louder within seconds not minutes.
Best way to wake up

This is truly the best way to wake up if you are someone who prefers not to be startled from sleep. It is gentle, beautiful, and effective. The only reason I gave it less than five stars is that it seems to use more battery life than most apps. Fix that bug and I'd give it a five plus.
I love this app but now it does not work

I have used this app for years. However, now it shuts itself off and will not stay set. I tried deleting it and downloading it again but it still does not work. When I tried to contact support, the email came back to me.So the app is not working and I can’t get support for it either. If this gets resolved and I can use it again I am happy to update my rating. It worked wonderfully for many years.
My favorite alarm app, could use two small features

The other reviews have stated the reasons why this is such an amazing alarm app, I will agree and note that it is the best one that I have found to work for me. It lacks two small features that would be helpful: 1) instead of only having the ability to set the alarm for a specific time, to also have the ability to set the alarm on a timer (for example: 25 minutes). 2) Have the current time show up on the alarm setting page so the user doesn't have to switch back to see what time it is to set the alarm. If it had these two features it would be perfect, hopefully at some point they are added. Otherwise, I'm very happy to have found this app!
Not as straight forward as it ought to be

I love the idea of this app. The slow but persistent gonging of a bell at increasing volume and frequency of tolling is very pleasant. The different schemes are logical and helpful. That said, the requirement that the app be active all day in order to work, that you have to reset the alarm each day, and so forth is a pain. If these annoyances were removed, it’d score an easy 5 stars.
