Worst app I ever bought

virginia college professor

I wanted to teach my kid about probability. For what this does you can just flip a real coin, etc. what a waste,

Not a bad start

The graphics are really nice, but if you are really trying to teach probability, there needs to be a spin/roll/toss counter on each item so students can keep track of the quantity of turns in order to create fractions to show the probability. Also, it is very hard to get the spinner to spin at an appropriate rate for a true spin.

I downloaded this because it seemed so great. It has yet to load the app. I have uninstalled and installed a few times. Help?!

This app was very helpful in having all of the tools (dice, spinners, and coins) all literally at your finger tips. I also enjoyed the extensions of the game as the 4th option on the home page. One thing I thought would be helpful for this app to be more applicable for the classroom would be to include the use of the terms theoretical and experimental probability. I do appreciate however that when you change the amount of colors in the spinner, it tells the percent of the theoretical probability. It would be nice to include plugging in what the theoretical probability would be for each experiment before finding out the experimental probability.
