THE OLD POKÉMON ARE NOT MISSING!! YOU HAVE TO GO TO TOOLS AND SELECT NATIONAL!!!! It was not that hard to figure out. This app should not be getting such negative reviews because the users don't know how to use the app!! This app is wonderful and super easy to use!!

I really USED TO like this app

This used to be my go to app for Pokémon knowledge but they absolutely butchered it with the new update. Great you added sun and moon info but you got rid of almost everything else that was so specific and helpful. This upgrade was most certainly a downgrade. Plus now it's difficult to navigate.

Bring back the old gens!

Used to be the best dex out there. Now devs turned it to 100% garbage. Old gens got removed and original layout was abandoned for the "new" generic and boring one. Value is now non existent

Only show locations of sun and moon

This Pokedex will show the national pokedex with all up to date Pokémon but it only shows catching locations in sun and moon for example if the Pokémon isn't available in sun or moon it will say"trade from...", "breed from...." Used to be good but now it's just Sun and Moon if it changes back I'll keep it but until then this app is terrible.

Still has ad when this is an app I bought?

There's a constant ad at the top left corner for some lame game. What's that about!? Also bring back the different regions, not just national and alola.

Originally, the format of the app is simple and tight; All the Pokémon were listed in thin lines so that you could look through a huge amount of Pokémon at a time. You could put one Pokémon in your favorites and another in the search browser and you could easily and quickly compare moves and stats. But now, the list of Pokémon take up much bigger and unnecessary space, making finding a specific Pokémon through a type list or something like that a more tedious process than before. And now, there is actually LESS info on there than before. Things are missing such as the Pokéathlon stats or the gender ratio of Pokémon. The biggest problem I have with this app is that there is no longer any information about past generations of Pokémon. Yes, there is a national dex that gives info on every single Pokémon, but what if I'm playing a game like Platinum for example and I want to look at moves that my Pokémon learn in that game? The app alienates itself from trainers who want to go back and play older games. The damage chart, nature chart, and community videos are the only thing that hold this app above a one-star rating

Good app, it's gotten way better!

It's a very useful app but it lacks constant or needed updates so it sort of becomes a little outdated over time... Is what I used to say but it's really turned around! Worth the buck! I'm bliss now that they've fixed everything and integrated all the old features again! Give it a try! I absolutely love it!

I've had this app for 5 years. In the beginning, it was the best pokedex app on the store. However as time passed the thoughtless developers have punished their paying customers by confusingly degrading it's functionally and look. This app now offers half of the features Dexter offers (which is free).

The main reason I got this app was for the first 5 generations pretty much. I could see the moves that a Pokémon would get from leveling up from any generation and all that fun stuff. Saw the update and tried to wait as long as possible but accidentally updated everything at once...and now I'm stuck with this 7th gen focused Pokédex that I have no need for, with very little detail about the previous generations now. Trying to find a way to file a complaint about this since I paid for something that doesn't exist on this app now, but in the meantime, 1 star is the best I can do ✌️

Honestly, when I first got this app, I loved it. It helped so much! I purposely got it for specific games like HeartGold or Diamond, or even X and Y. But then this update came. It only shows us the Sun and Moon generation. Sure, it has a National Pokédex, but that's not what we want. We "WERE" expecting to add Sun and Moon, just like X and Y, so it would be the same as before. But it's not the same anymore. ?
