Generally works well. But I went to my yahoo mail and then back to the OS. Next time I opened the browser and went to the yahoo mail site, I WAS STILL LOGGED IN and could navigate through my mail. That should not happen if the browser is truly deleting all cookies, etc! What if I had lent my iPad to another yahoo mail user?
The app is small and does just as advertised and for the low price of free. But the tabs look a bit shabby. Make bigger tabs like other alternative web browsers and possibly a more Safari-like design and I'm good to go!
I bet most people use this for porn but i wish it would not bring up your data usage but it dose but is still a good app
It does not delete everything. When I locked my screen and unlocked it, the browser was still up and running.
Works pretty good. Downsides are: no top bar (so no idea how good your wifi connection is), this app WILL NOT DELETE ANYTHING if you only lock your iPod (exit the app first), and if you use the mobile version of google, your past searches will be cached, meaning when you tap in the search bar ALL of your past searches appear in a list. The list can be deleted, but the easy solution is to use google classic. Beware, sometimes a search on classic will redirect to mobile, storing your search to show to whoever clicks in the search box.
this browser does a great job ensuring your privacy. (albeit slowly) however, it doesn't clear cookies every time it is launched. so you are still being tracked by advertisers, etc. many features like http authentication isn't implemented, and many http exceptions are not displayed as it should. there are rooms for improvement for it to become a standard browser. but for a free app, it's great for what it does.
